Can't pick a main? Spin for one.
The wheel picks a class, then a spec, a faction and a race that can actually play it in Forever, new combos and Skyborne included. Rule out what you would never play, lock what you like, and spin the rest. Every result comes with the racials and our verdict on the pairing.
172 possible rolls with your settings, every class equally likely across 9.
Spin and the wheel picks a class, then a spec, a faction and a race that can actually play it. Every class has the same chance, so Paladin is not crowded out by Warrior just because more races can be Warriors.
Three things worth locking first.
Blizzard confirmed there is no cross-faction play in Forever, so a guild or a friend on the other side is a hard wall. If your people already picked, set the faction filter and let the wheel do the rest.
Dual spec is planned for level 40, so Warriors, Paladins, Priests, Shamans and Druids can level as damage and heal or tank later. Set the role filter to Tank or Healer if that is the job you want, and the wheel only offers classes that can do it.
Blizzard said it tuned racials so their offensive value is comparable across races, which makes the race the cheapest call here. If the wheel gives you the right class on a race you dislike, lock the class and spin again. Our best race per class has the numbers.
Every race and class combo in Forever.
56 combinations, 46 without the Skyborne. Lime cells are new in Forever. Classic 1.12 had 40.

About the randomizer.
How many race and class combinations are there in WoW Forever?
Fifty-six. Classic had 40, Forever adds six new ones (Orc Mage, Undead Paladin, Dwarf Shaman, Troll Warlock, Gnome Priest and Human Hunter), and the two Skyborne races add ten more. Without Skyborne it is 46.
Is every class equally likely on the wheel?
Yes. The randomizer picks the class first, then a spec, then a faction, then a race that can play it. If it picked from every race and class pair instead, Warrior (ten races) would come up far more often than Paladin (three).
Which classes can the Skyborne play?
Warrior, Hunter, Rogue and Druid on both factions. Shaman is Horde only, through the Windshapers, and Mage is Alliance only, through the High Order. Skyborne cannot be Paladins, Priests or Warlocks, and the race needs one of the Forever packs.
Can I keep the class and reroll only the race?
Yes. After a spin, lock any slot (faction, race, class or spec) and spin again. Locked slots stay, the rest reroll from whatever still fits. A locked race also locks its faction, and a locked spec also locks its class.
Where the combos come from
Race and class pairings and racial text come from our racials page, built from the talentsforever.com export (CC BY 4.0) and updated for the October 15 beta build. The six new combos are from Blizzard's Deep Dive recap. Verdicts are the picks on our best race page.
Then what?
Once the wheel lands, plan the build in the talent calculator, check where the class sits on the buff tier list, and read our case for starting on a Shaman if you would rather be told.
