WOW FOREVER · PROFESSIONS · EVERY BONUS, OBJECT AND PERK

Professions with a point.

Blizzard promised over 600 new recipes and said you would feel your profession choice at low level. This is what that means in practice: the passive bonus each profession gives for being trained, the crafted objects you can drop at a campfire, the new recipe types, and the Legacy perks that sit on top. Each line is tagged by whether Blizzard said it on stage or the community read it off the demo.

  • Placing a Basic Campfire creates a campsite with vendors, repairs, profession workspaces and one-hour buffs. You sit at the fire for a moment before the buffs land. Blizzard
  • A Basic Campfire holds up to three crafted objects. Each player adds one, on a one-hour cooldown. Blizzard
  • Every profession has three camp objects learned at different skill levels. The first comes at skill 20 from the camping NPCs or your trainer; the advanced ones are Blueprint recipes that drop from specific dungeon bosses. Blizzard
  • Camp buffs are variants of class buffs and do not stack with them: the Incense Candle competes with Arcane Intellect, the First Aid Kit with Power Word: Fortitude. Blizzard
  • Supply crates turned in to the Azeroth Commerce Authority or Durotar Supply and Logistics award Merchant's Favor. The system is only known from the Legacy perk that boosts it; Blizzard has not described it. Reported

Reagent Economy 1 rank

Which two to take

For a first character the trained passives decide it: Mining for 5% health and Skinning for 5% against Beasts and Dragonkin are free power on any class, and Herbalism's magic resistance plus the Incense Candle is the caster pick. Crafters pay for their objects with gold and time. That is fine at 60 and slow at 30.
