Talent Builds
Stat Priority
1
Agility
Primary stat — always prioritize item level. Higher ilvl means more Agility and Armor.
2
Haste
Reduces GCD and increases Fracture/Shear throughput. More Haste means more soul fragments and faster Fury generation.
3
Critical Strike
Increases parry chance via Riposte. Also increases damage and healing from Soul Cleave.
4
Versatility
Flat damage increase and damage reduction. Excellent defensive stat for progression tanking.
5
Mastery
Increases survivability only against damage reduced by armor. Marginally last among secondaries — all stats are roughly equal in value.
Rotation Priority
1
Primary active mitigation. Maintain uptime during physical damage. Two charges with short recharge — always have one charging.
2
Major damage reduction debuff. Apply to the primary target for 40% damage reduction. Maintain high uptime in raids.
3
Channeled AoE that heals you. Use on cooldown for damage and self-sustain. Save for dangerous moments if needed.
4
Consume soul fragments at 4-5 stacks for massive AoE damage and Frailty application. Your primary AoE damage ability.
5
Primary Fury generator that creates soul fragments. Use to maintain fragment supply for Spirit Bomb and Soul Cleave.
6
Fury spender that consumes soul fragments for healing. Use when Spirit Bomb is on cooldown or in single-target.
7
AoE damage and Fury generation. Use on cooldown for sustained AoE threat and damage.
8
Passive AoE damage and Fury generation. Use on cooldown to maintain Fury income.
9
Gap closer that generates Fury. Use on cooldown as a Fury generator and mobility tool.
