Talent Builds
Stat Priority
1
Agility
Primary stat — always prioritize item level. Higher ilvl means more Agility, Armor, and dodge chance.
2
Versatility
Flat damage increase and damage reduction. Best overall defensive secondary stat for Guardian Druid.
3
Mastery
Increases maximum health and healing received in bear form. Strong for absorbing large hits and improving self-healing.
4
Haste
Reduces GCD and increases Rage generation. Improves Ironfur uptime and rotation fluidity.
5
Critical Strike
Increases dodge chance via natural agility. Lowest priority defensive stat but improves damage output.
Rotation Priority
1
Primary active mitigation. Maintain 1-2 stacks at all times. Stack higher during physical damage bursts.
2
Major offensive and defensive cooldown. Use on pull or for dangerous phases. Reduces Mangle cooldown and increases armor.
3
Primary Rage generator. Use on cooldown. Hits hard and procs Gore for free Mangle resets.
4
AoE bleed and Rage generator. Maintain stacks on all targets for AoE threat and bleed damage.
5
Maintain on all targets. Free to cast with Galactic Guardian procs. Generates Rage on application.
6
Rage dump ability. Use when Rage is high and Ironfur is maintained. Replaced by Raze in AoE situations.
7
Low-priority AoE Rage generator. Use as filler when other abilities are on cooldown.
8
Self-heal over time. Use when health drops below 70% or when anticipating sustained damage.
