Stat Priority

Intellect

Primary stat — always prioritize item level. Higher ilvl means more Intellect.

Critical Strike

Increases critical hit chance on all abilities. Benefits from Spellweaver's Dominance for additional scaling. Your best secondary stat.

Haste

Reduces empower cast times, GCD, and adds DoT ticks. Helps fit more casts into Dragonrage windows.

Mastery

Increases damage based on target health percentage via Mastery: Giantkiller. Value depends on boss health pools.

Versatility

Flat damage increase and damage reduction. Lowest priority DPS stat but valuable for survivability.

Rotation Priority

Dragonrage

Use on pull and on cooldown. Line up with raid burst windows for maximum value.

Shattering Star

Use on cooldown to apply the vulnerability debuff before spending empower abilities.

Fire Breath

Empower to rank 3-4. Use during Dragonrage for maximum burst. Applies DoT.

Eternity Surge

Empower to hit the correct number of targets. Use during Dragonrage for burst.

Deep Breath

Use on cooldown for strong burst damage. Line up with AoE windows in Mythic+.

Disintegrate

Primary filler during Dragonrage. Use Essence Burst procs to cast for free.

Pyre

AoE Essence spender. Replace Disintegrate at 3+ targets. Weave with empowered spells in Mythic+.

Azure Strike

Instant filler that generates Essence Burst procs. Use for movement or when Living Flame is impractical.
