Maximum single-target damage for raid encounters. Dark Ranger enhances your shots with shadow damage, providing consistent single-target throughput with strong Aimed Shot empowerment.

When to use: Use for all Mythic+ dungeons. Strong sustained AoE with Trick Shots, Volley, and Sentinel marks spreading damage across packs.

Stat Priority

Agility

Primary stat — always prioritize item level. Higher ilvl means more Agility.

Mastery

Increases the range at which you deal bonus damage. Your best secondary stat, especially for raid encounters.

Critical Strike

Increases critical hit chance. Synergizes with Trueshot and Bullseye for execute-phase burst.

Haste

Reduces cast times for Aimed Shot and Steady Shot, and reduces GCD. Solid value for smoother gameplay.

Versatility

Flat damage increase and damage reduction. Lowest priority DPS stat but valuable for survivability.

Rotation Priority

Trueshot

Use on pull and on cooldown. Your primary burst cooldown that empowers Aimed Shot.

Wailing Arrow

Use on cooldown for burst damage. Silences enemies in AoE — great for Mythic+ utility.

Volley

Use on cooldown for AoE damage. Activates Trick Shots for cleave without requiring Multi-Shot.

Aimed Shot

Your hardest-hitting ability. Use with Precise Shots procs for maximum output. Always have 2 charges rolling.

Rapid Fire

Use on cooldown. Channels a rapid burst of shots and generates focus.

Kill Shot

Use during execute phase (below 20% HP). Deals massive damage to low-health targets.
