Talent Builds
Stat Priority
1
Agility
Primary stat — always prioritize item level. Higher ilvl means more Agility.
2
Mastery
Greatly increases Hunter ability damage via Spirit Bond. Your best secondary stat for all content.
3
Critical Strike
Increases critical hit chance. Strong synergy with Tip of the Spear and burst windows. Roughly equal to Haste.
4
Haste
Improves attack speed, reduces GCD, and reduces cooldowns. Roughly equal to Critical Strike.
5
Versatility
Flat damage increase and damage reduction. Lowest priority but provides good survivability in melee.
Rotation Priority
1
Primary burst cooldown (78s). High-damage leap that grants a 20% damage buff and 3 stacks of Tip of the Spear.
2
Primary resource generator. Builds Tip of the Spear stacks (15% damage buff per stack, up to 3). Use on cooldown.
3
Fire DoT in a cone. 2 charges with cooldown. Do not cap charges. Strong burst and AoE.
4
Frontal cone channel (45s cooldown, can reach 15s in AoE). Strong burst damage ability.
5
Primary melee ability. Consume Tip of the Spear stacks for bonus damage. Has a chance to proc Raptor Swipe for AoE.
6
Ground-targeted AoE with 2 charges. Use for sustained area damage on stacked targets.
7
Bouncing projectile attack. Use as a ranged filler or to tag additional targets.
8
Use during execute phase (below 20% HP) for high burst damage.
9
Gap closer that roots the target. Use to re-engage after mechanics or pull to targets.
