Stat Priority

Intellect
Primary stat — always prioritize item level. Higher ilvl means more Intellect and stronger healing.

Mastery
Mastery: Echo of Light places a HoT on targets you heal. Your best secondary stat for sustained raid throughput.
3
Critical Strike
Increases chance for double-strength heals. Synergizes well with Holy Word procs and burst healing.
4
Versatility
Flat healing increase and damage reduction. Valuable for consistent throughput and survivability.
5
Haste
Reduces cast times and GCD. Lower priority than other secondaries for Holy Priest but still useful.
Rotation Priority
1
Keep on cooldown. Bounces between injured targets and reduces Holy Word cooldowns.
2
Use on cooldown for powerful single-target healing. Cooldown reduced by Flash Heal and Heal casts.
3
Use for AoE healing on stacked groups. Cooldown reduced by Prayer of Healing and Circle of Healing.
4
Use on cooldown for smart AoE healing. Reduces Holy Word: Sanctify cooldown.
5
Use for sustained AoE healing when Circle of Healing is on cooldown. Reduces Sanctify cooldown.

Burst healing cooldown. Resets Holy Word cooldowns and massively reduces their cooldowns during its duration.

Major raid healing cooldown. Channel for powerful raid-wide healing. Coordinate with other healers.

Maintain on targets for passive damage. Contributes to healer DPS during low-damage phases.
