Talent Builds
Stat Priority
1
Agility
Primary stat — always prioritize item level. Higher ilvl means more Agility.
2
Versatility
Flat damage increase and damage reduction. Top secondary stat for Subtlety due to even scaling across burst windows.
3
Critical Strike
Increases critical strike chance. Strong synergy with Shadow Dance burst phases and Deepening Shadows.
4
Mastery
Increases finisher damage. Solid stat that scales well with Eviscerate and Secret Technique.
5
Haste
Increases energy regeneration and reduces GCD. Lowest priority but still provides value for smoother gameplay.
Rotation Priority
1
Use on pull and on cooldown. Major damage cooldown — all combo point generators deal additional Shadow damage.
2
Use before entering Shadow Dance. Increases damage dealt and generates combo points.
3
Enter Shadow Dance with Symbols of Death active. Use Shadowstrike as your primary builder during dance.
4
Primary builder during Shadow Dance and Stealth. Generates 2 combo points and teleports to the target.
5
Use at max combo points during Shadow Dance for maximum burst damage.
6
Maintain at max combo points on all priority targets for sustained bleed damage.
7
Primary finisher at 5-6 combo points when Rupture is active and Secret Technique is on cooldown.
8
Filler builder outside of Shadow Dance. Use to generate combo points between dance windows.
