Maximum single-target damage for raid encounters. Soul Harvester is currently the stronger hero talent in both single target and Mythic+, amplifying your DoT damage through soul shard generation and Demonic Soul procs.

When to use: Use for all Mythic+ dungeons. Strong multi-target DoT spread with Soul Harvester shard generation and burst AoE through Malefic Grasp.

Stat Priority

Intellect

Primary stat -- always prioritize item level. Higher ilvl means more Intellect.

Mastery

Increases all DoT damage (Potent Afflictions). Tied with Crit as your best secondary stat for sustained damage.

Critical Strike

Increases chance to critically strike. Tied with Mastery -- scales evenly across all DoTs and direct damage.

Haste

Increases DoT tick rate and reduces cast times. Solid for more Agony ticks and faster Malefic Grasp casts.

Versatility

Flat damage increase and damage reduction. Lowest priority DPS stat but valuable for survivability.

Rotation Priority

Agony

Maintain on all targets at all times. Ramps up damage over time and generates soul shards.

Corruption

Maintain on all targets. Instant cast DoT that provides consistent damage and Nightfall procs.

Unstable Affliction

Maintain on your primary target. Cannot be dispelled without backlash and feeds Malefic Rapture damage.

Haunt

Use on cooldown. Increases all damage dealt to the target and feeds your DoT damage.

Summon Darkglare

Use when all DoTs are active. Extends all DoTs and deals damage amplified by the number of DoTs on targets.

Dark Harvest

Use on cooldown. Soul Harvester version grants 3 Soul Shards per cast. Align with Darkglare every 2 minutes.

Malefic Grasp

Primary soul shard spender. Deals damage to all targets afflicted by your DoTs. Use at 3+ shards.

Drain Soul
