Maximum single-target damage for raid encounters. Sunfury enhances your Arcane abilities with solar empowerment, providing additional burst during Arcane Surge windows and strong sustained damage.

When to use: Use if Spellslinger is tuned higher or you prefer the proc-based playstyle. Sim your character to compare with Sunfury.

Stat Priority

Intellect

Primary stat — always prioritize item level. Higher ilvl means more Intellect.

Critical Strike

Increases critical hit chance. Strong synergy with Arcane Surge burst windows and Arcane Missiles procs.

Mastery

Increases damage based on mana spent. Powerful during burn phases when casting at high Arcane Charges.

Haste

Reduces cast times and GCD. Helps fit more casts into Arcane Surge windows.

Versatility

Flat damage increase and damage reduction. Lowest priority DPS stat but valuable for survivability.

Rotation Priority

Arcane Surge

Use on pull and on cooldown. Your primary burst cooldown — maximizes damage at 4 Arcane Charges.

Touch of the Magi

Apply immediately after Arcane Surge. Accumulates and releases damage for massive burst.

Arcane Orb

Use to generate Arcane Charges quickly. Also strong for AoE situations.

Arcane Blast

Primary damage spell. Cast at 4 Arcane Charges during burn phases for maximum damage.

Arcane Missiles

Use Clearcasting procs immediately. Free mana and strong damage during burst windows.

Arcane Barrage

Use to dump Arcane Charges during conserve phase or for AoE cleave damage.

Shifting Power

Use during conserve phase to reduce cooldowns of Arcane Surge and Touch of the Magi.

Evocation

Use to restore mana during conserve phase. Essential for maintaining the burn/conserve cycle.
