Talent Builds
Stat Priority
1
Intellect
Primary stat — always prioritize item level. Higher ilvl means more Intellect.
2
Haste
Reduces cast times and GCD. Critical for fitting more casts into Combustion windows. Your best secondary stat.
3
Critical Strike
Increases critical hit chance. Fire relies on crits for Hot Streak procs, but has many guaranteed-crit mechanics.
4
Mastery
Increases Ignite damage over time. Strong for sustained damage, especially on multi-target encounters.
5
Versatility
Flat damage increase and damage reduction. Lowest priority DPS stat but valuable for survivability.
Rotation Priority
1
Use on pull and on cooldown. Your primary burst cooldown — guarantees Fire Blast and Phoenix Flames crits.
2
Use to convert Heating Up to Hot Streak. Save charges for Combustion windows.
3
Cast instantly with Hot Streak procs. Your hardest-hitting ability during Combustion.
4
Use during Combustion to generate Hot Streak. Always crits during Combustion.
5
Use outside Combustion to reduce cooldowns. Brings Combustion back faster.
6
Use Hot Streak procs on Flamestrike instead of Pyroblast when 3+ targets are stacked.
7
Apply and maintain on targets. Deals strong AoE damage when it explodes.
8
Filler spell outside of Combustion. Generates Heating Up procs for Hot Streak.
