Talent Builds
Stat Priority
1
Intellect
Primary stat — always prioritize item level. Higher ilvl means more Intellect.
2
Haste
Reduces cast times and GCD. Critical for fitting more casts into Combustion windows and increasing proc rates. Your best secondary stat.
3
Mastery
Enhances Mastery: Ignite, your primary DoT effect. Multiple Ignite instances tick together for strong sustained and multi-target damage.
4
Versatility
Flat damage increase and damage reduction. Provides consistent throughput and survivability.
5
Critical Strike
Least valuable despite Fire relying on crits — the spec has many sources of guaranteed crits which makes the stat lackluster.
Rotation Priority
1
Use on pull and on cooldown. Your primary burst cooldown — guarantees critical strikes for 10 seconds.

Use to convert Heating Up to Hot Streak. Save charges for Combustion windows.
3
Cast instantly with Hot Streak procs. Queue with a builder for double Pyroblast technique during Combustion.

Use during Combustion to generate Hot Streak. Always crits during Combustion.

Use on cooldown (30s). Strong burst ability. Integrates with Sunfury for Combustion extension.

Replace Pyroblast with Hot Streak Flamestrike at 4+ targets.

Apply and maintain on targets. Deals strong AoE damage when it explodes.

Primary builder outside of Combustion. Generates Heating Up procs for Hot Streak.

Alternative builder for Frostfire hero talent builds. Replaces Fireball with instant cast procs via Frostfire Empowerment.
